YouthBerry Tea Equivalent to teavanna's brand




I am new to teas and fell in love with Teavanna's Youthberry White tea (as well as others). I enjoyed my tea experience soo much, that I took the plunge and bought a cast iron tea pot, cast iron cups, cast iron saucers, etc.

My problem is the amount of $ Teavanna charges per oz. With the new frequency that I drink tea, $8/oz seems excessive. Does anyone know of a website where I can buy in bulk quality loose white teas that taste similar (if not better) to Teavanna's Youthberry tea, but for a reasonable price? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

A box of my Twinnings tea, 20 bags cost 16.4 cents per tea bag, 4oz of this tea makes about 35 cups of tea, I paid $6 an ounce At the mall, so that is about 34 cents per 8oz cup of tea. That is not bad, considering what I pay at store for a soda pop. And drinking yummy tea keeps me from drinking less pop.

I LOOOOVE Youthberry as well! I found the exact same mix as Youthberry (It tasted exactly the saaame!!) at the The Spice and Tea Exchange in Chicago for like 2 bucks an ounce.. Unfortunately when i went back to get more they said the distributor of that tea had gone out of business :(

The tea was called White Acai though, You might have better luck with that name maybe? I just started looking for an alternative tea and found this site. I hope this helps!

I also feel that this tea is so expensive! I like to drink iced teas so I steep more than the recommended portion but I can't afford this tea. Any help to find a comparable tea be grateful.

If you think Teavana is expensive, try weighing the contents of a herb tea bag and figuring out how much it costs. You also don't know where it was grown, how fresh it is, how it was processed or if it has the antioxident quality you are using tea for.
