Willow Bark Uses, Dangers
by May Eve
I've been told that willow bark works as a pain reliever and may be taken as often and for as long as necessary without any side effects. Is this true?
And if used for tea, should willow bark be steeped the same as any other herb?
I have not done any research on willow bark and so I am not familiar with its ability to be used as a pain killer.
I am also not familiar with its use as a herbal tea - or if it is safe to consume as a tea.
I do know that most herbal teas require steeping of 1-3 minutes and can always be resteeped for a second cup.
Perhaps consult with your doctor, pharmacist or herbal practitioner. They will be able to advise of the best way to consume willow bark.
