Black Tea and Labour
by: Teya - Admin

Hi and thanks for the question,

I have not heard that Liptons black tea will bring on labour for a pregnant woman.

Sorry.... I will caution you though - black teas are not recommended during pregnancy. They contain high levels of caffeine.

To bring on labour, maybe go for a walk. There are lots of theories, but babies seem to come when they are ready, so try to relax.

If you want a tea that is safe during your pregnancy, we have an excellent article on pregnancy safe teas

Hope this helps, and have a safe happy pregnancy.
