what tea was served in Chinatown, NYC, and all Chinese Restaurants there

I have purchased Dynastys 'Chinese Restaurant Tea' which
is a blend of jasmine, oolong and green. Not it. also tried jasmine then chrythemum. Not them either.
Years later I found tins of tea in either Hickory Farms, or Swiss Colony in Town East Mall in Mesquite, TX. It was the same CRT I remembered, but had no info. as to real name or blend or actual tea company.
I remember it as being pale yellow? It was definitely NOT green tea.
I was a child in NYC in the 40's and I liked their tea more than the food at the time.
