Tuscany Orange Spice Black Tea

Tuscany Orange Spice Black tea is commercially sold by Celestial Seasonings. It contains all-natural ingredients and flavors. It claims to have no artificial colors or preservatives, but it does have caffeine. It is also gluten free, so a good choice for a flavorful tea for those on gluten free diets.The ingredients in the tea are:
  • Black tea
  • Hibiscus
  • Cinnamon
  • Orange flavors
  • Orange peel
  • Whole dried oranges

It boosts being 100% natural, containing natural ingredients and flavours, with no artificial colors or preservatives. No calories if you drink it black without adding milk, cream, sugar or sweeteners.

A nicely flavoured treat for those on calorie reduced diets as well.

This variety can be a little more difficult to find available in stores and grocery markets. Tea Merchants may carry the product. Celestial Tea has so many varieties, it is difficult for grocers and merchants to stock every flavour available.

Tuscany Orange Spice Marinade

Great for chicken breast or pork loin.

  • 2 Tuscany Orange Spice Tea Bags
  • 1 cup boiled water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 1tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper corns
  • 1tsp olive oil
  • Place two tea bags in one cup of boiled water and let brew for a full 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Peel and mince garlic cloves, add to tea, Add sugar, grated orange zest, grated ginger and olive oil. Let rest a minimum of 30 minutes and overnight is better. Add your favourite chicken breast or pork loin and marinade at least 30 minutes.

    Remove meat from marinade and cook as you prefer, bbq or pany fry are my favourites. In a separate sauce pan, boil the marinade down to 1/4 cup and pour over meat after meat is cooked and placed on serving tray.
