Everyone has their own preference as to the base tea. For these recipes, you can use black tea, white tea or green tea as the base.

The preference is yours and they all taste a little different depending on the tea you use. It is always best to use an organic loose tea as the base over a commercial tea bag. You will enjoy much more flavour and benefits from the tea.

Cinnamon Spiced Tea

Prepare your loose organic tea as you normally would. Once the tea is brewed and you have removed the tea leaves, add 1/8tsp of cinnamon for each cup of tea. Alternatively you could add a cinnamon stick to the tea cup.

Cardamom Spiced Tea

Prepare your loose organic tea as you normally would. Once the tea is brewed and you have removed the tea leaves, add 1/8tsp of cinnamon and cardamom for each cup of tea. Alternatively you could add a cinnamon stick to the tea cup. When made with organic loose black tea, this resembles a Chai Tea.

Spiced Tea Recipe

Prepare your loose organic tea as you normally would. Once the tea is brewed and you have removed the tea leaves, add 1/8tsp of cinnamon and cardamom for each cup of tea. Add 2 whole cloves per cup of tea as well. Let the spices steep in the prepared tea for 2-3 minutes.

Ginger Spice Tea

Prepare your loose organic tea as you normally would. Once the tea is brewed and you have removed the tea leaves, add a sliver of ginger root for each cup of tea. This is a very refreshing spice tea.
