Oregano Herb

Oregano, also known as Pot Marjoram is native to the Mediterranean region and central Asia. Used often in Italian and Greek cuisine, Oregano offers a warm and slightly bitter taste that blends well with the sweet taste of basil in many Italian dishes. The dish most widely associated with Oregano is Pizza.

Oregano herb comes from a perennial plant in the mint family and is most commonly used as a spice or seasoning and is often grown as a kitchen herb. There are many different varieties of the oregano plant and oregano herb. Oregano grows about 2 feet tall and can spread about 18 inches so requires a larger pot to fully do well.
