Mate Yerba - Yerba Mate

Google

Mate Yerba or Yerba Mate is a herbal tea that growns in warm climates and is actually derived from a species of the holly tree.

It is not traditional tea from the camellia senisis plant. This actually makes yerba mate a herbal tea.

When you are brewing yerba mate, it is done in hot but not boiled water. If you use boiled water your mate will be bitter and not very pleasing to the taste. Yerba Mate is often marketed as caffeine free however it is a stimulant and reacts with similar effects to caffeine drinks like coffee and teas.

It is also said to be a muscle relaxant, and is said to have cancer fighting qualities and atributes in recent clinical studies.
