are these their own specific teas or are they a member of another tea? eg- green or black teas?

Hibiscus tea is actually a herbal tea. It is not part of the green tea or black tea family. It is derived from the flower petals of the hibiscus plant native to southern regions. It is coveted in countries such as Mexico and Brazil.

It makes a refreshing tea, and is very beneficial with respect to antioxidants.
