Green Tea Kombucha

Google

Green Tea Kombucha is a great combination for your body! You can buy this combination in some specialty food stores. The antioxidants of the green tea combined with the organic Kombucha culture benefits and probiotics make this a true wonder drink!

If you are not able to guy Kombucha with Green Tea or you want to make your own, here are a few tips to ensure you get the most benefit from your tea combo.

Kombucha Wonder Drink with Green Tea!

If you are going to make you own combo, there are a couple of ways to do it. First, you can make your Kombucha using green tea instead of black tea. I have done this and it makes a Kombucha drink that is much lighter tasting than if you brew your Kombucha using black tea.

The other think I have tried is doing a Kombucha brew with half black tea and half green tea and I think this makes a more traditional Kombucha Tea.

Just follow the instructions for Kombucha Brewing and use half and half when starting your Kombucha.

Note: The Kombucha seems to brew to a drinkable beverage much quicker when you are brewing a green tea batch. This must have something to do with the make up of green tea vs black tea, but you need to watch your Kombucha carefully. I have created a Green Tea Kombucha in as little as 4 days.

Alternative Ways to Make Kombucha with Green Tea

You can also cut or mix your Kombucha with premade green tea. Some reports say this is a more consistent way to get the benefits of both the green tea and the kombucha as the make up of the Kombucha has not been altered in the brewing process.

Remember, the traditional recipe for Kombucha calls for black tea.

So, if you don’t brew your own, buy some bottled Kombucha and some organic green tea. Loose leaf tea is always best, so try to located an organic supplier of loose leaf green tea.

The rest is easy! Simply brew a batch of green tea and let it cool. Once cool, place the green tea in the fridge to chill it.

When you are ready for your drink, simply blend 50% bottled Kombucha and 50% green tea in a glass and you are set! You have just made your own Kombucha Wonder Tea!

Note: Do not add bottled Kombucha or Kombucha culture to hot tea or a hot beverage of any kind. The live cultures will die, and you will not get the health benefits you are looking for.
