Green tea supplements and Human Egg damage?

by D. Novak
(New York City)

I am a 29 year old woman with good health. For the past four years I have taken green tea droplet supplements daily. I stopped taking these supplements when I realized I was pregnant however I had a miscarriage. Could these green tea supplements had damaged my eggs in any way? I have since learned that green tea can prohibet folate from being absorbed into the body and that it may be best to avoid green tea supplements while pregnant. I did take it the first two weeks of pregnancy when I didn't realize I was pregnant. Could this have endangered the pregnancy and can these supplements cause long term damage to eggs?
