Green Tea Diets Might Make You Fat!
Green tea diets seem to be yet another fad coming out of the recent research findings proving that green tea may help in reducing weight. Although I'm a huge advocate in drinking tea for general health, I'm a bit disappointed in what has happened to the way in which tea is being seen.
Everybody knows that diets don't work, even though the diet industry is one of the richest in the world. You might lose 10-20 pounds, but if you're on a diet you're about 90% likely to gain it right back within a year or so. This is called a "yo-yo" diet.

Green tea diets, in my opinion, are going to produce similar results. People will believe all the hype that green tea produces huge losses in weight. Therefore, they'll have the mindset that they can eat whatever they want and still lose weight, thanks to the "miracle" of green tea.
Folks, I'm hear to tell you that you can't believe the lies that some people give you. Believe me, if
produced the results that everybody thinks it does, I would be flaunting it immensely. After all, this is a website about the health benefits of tea. Don't you think I'm more inclined to look only at the positives?
Well, I don't. I simply look at the truth. It's true that green tea has been shown to be a great supplement for a weight loss program. You might lose a few pounds in the first month due to the increase in metabolism you'll receive. However, green tea diets shouldn't even be considered.
What people mean by "green tea diets" is that they use
to lose weight. Please, please don't use it exclusively if you're trying to lose weight. You need to eat healthy nutritious foods and drink tea and water. If you eat healthy food but drink soda and alcohol all day, you won't lose weight. If you eat junk food but drink tea and water all day, you might lose a few pounds but nothing drastic.
Don't fall for many of the green tea diets. Instead, fall for lifestyle changes which should include eating healthy, exercising regularly, and drinking low or no calorie drinks.

Nutrition shouldn't be a hard subject. Just focus on eating things that the Earth naturally produces. For instance, I just got finished eating a chicken salad. It contained salad, a whole tomato from my garden sliced up, chicken, a dash of shredded Parmesan cheese, and a little Balsamic and Basil Vinaigrette dressing.
When I'm done writing this page, I'll probably have a cup of tea. I'm not sure which one yet considering I have about 30 different Green Tea Samplers.
If I was really serious about losing weight I would have eliminated the cheese, but I only put on a little bit anyway so it doesn't bother me. For someone losing weight however, they might want to avoid the cheese.
Nutrition is an easy thing to know. If it's man-made, consider not eating it. If it'd produced naturally, it's meant to be eaten. For the next month eat this way and I will guarantee that you'll lose weight - as long as you stick to it and don't eat the majority of your calories right before going to bed.
