Golden Honey Darjeeling Black Tea

Google

Golden Honey Darjeeling Black Tea is a lively black tea blend with lightly fragrant overtones. It is sold by Celestial Seasonings.

Cultivated at the foothills of the Himalayas, Darjeeling teas are prized around the world for their superb flavor and exquisite aroma.

The Darjeeling's are known as the Champagne of Teas or Mile High Tea. This is mostly due to the location in which the tea is grown. It is grown in a colder, higher climate than most teas. It is grown almost a mile high in elevation and is grown on a mountainous slope of up to 70 degrees or more! Tea can not typically be successfully cultivated at an altitude of higher than 6000 feet, and the Darjeeling's push this to the max, higher altitude growth produces a stronger flavoured tea, but a much smaller leaf.

Of course this makes it difficult to cultivate and harvest, but the unique flavour is well worth it for India’s highest regarded tea.

The Darjeeling's are typically black teas and Golden Honey Darjeeling has a hint of real honey to increase this teas natural bouquet. It is 100% natural and has no artificial colors or preservatives.

As with all black teas, Honey Darjeeling does contain caffeine, but is gluten free and contains no calories unless sweetened further or milk is added.

Honey Darjeeling’s ingredients are Darjeeling black tea, orange peel, chamomile, natural honey and other natural flavors.
