Are The Facts About Tea Really Facts, Or Are They Just Opinions?

Many people around the world today claim to have proven the facts about tea and how beneficial it is to your body. They give you studies that you probably can't read unless you have experience in research studies, and you believe that these statements about tea are indeed facts, not opinions.

If you are looking for quirky and weird tea facts, visit our Strange Tea Facts, there are some really weird facts there!

Luckily for you, you've found this page. I have a decently well-rounded background in this area from being in college the last few years. I've conducted a study with a group already, and this coming semester I'm conducting a large scale study that may well be published in a psychology magazine. I've studied research methods extensively so I know what to look for, so you can trust that I know what I'm talking about.

Are Tea Facts Really Facts?

When you're reading through this website, do you trust that what I'm saying is true? In all honestly, I could by lying through my teeth about everything, just to persuade you to my way of thinking.

I can tell you right now that I don't lie about anything, but you'll just have to take my word for it. Unless you know me personally and have met me before, you really can't know whether I'm lying or not. If you knew me in person, you'd know that this website is full of truth because I don't lie about anything.

However, that's only me. In order to know if the facts about tea are truly facts, do we have to know whether or not the researchers writing their papers are telling the truth? Fortunately, we don't. By looking at the data and possessing a little knowledge about research, I can tell you whether or not a study is credible or not.

For example most studies that are trying to prove the facts about tea such as how it lowers blood pressure, reduces heart disease, improves mental clarity, and other similar things, use a large number of people in their studies. This adds a huge degree of credibility because if there are only 10 or 20 people in a study, one minor defect can throw the entire study off.

Most studies that try to prove the facts about tea contain hundreds, if not thousands of people.

Another way that I know most of these studies hold tremendous credibility is because they are done using humans. Since so many factors can skew the data, when a study is done on a human and it shows a positive result, that's a very strong argument that whatever they're trying to measure is really working.

Researcher One more reason that the facts about tea are truly facts is because it takes many hours of work to complete a research project. For a typical study on tea, it would take a few hundred hours of research and implementation in order to complete it, write the paper and get it published. It also has to be reviewed and looked over by various people.

If you were a researcher, would you spend hundreds of hours working on a project, just to lie about it and have it thrown away? I don't think so. These researchers probably aren't tea fanatics - they're just doing a study and trying to show how the facts about tea are in fact true.

Why You Can't Trust The FDA

Unfortunately for the United States, we can't trust the one company who dictates what is healthy for us and what isn't. The reason is this - they only care about the money.

If the FDA can't make money from something they're about to claim has benefits to your health, they simply won't support it unless their is conclusive evidence to show that there's no doubt it is beneficial to your health. Unfortunately, few things can do that.

They instead support painkillers, anti-depressants, and other unnatural forms of drugs that kill our bodies. When it comes to the facts about tea and the hundreds of studies that prove those facts, they could care less.

Canada's FDA (although it's not actually called the FDA up there) has recently approved tea as a health product. They've seen so much proof on the facts about tea that they're convinced that it's healthy for you.

Tea has been around for thousands of years. It was said to cure many health problems even when they had nothing to measure it with. It's been thought of as a miracle drink since it was first drank, and with continuing studies being done on it, it's finally being proven to be an amazingly healthy drink.
