Eating Tea Leaves
I would like to know whether or not tea leaves are good for eating after using them to brew tea. For instance, using it to mix in cooked rice and adding hot water (tea rice). Although it may stain my teeth, the flouride in the tea might be good for oral health, will it not?
Eating tea leaves is common in many countries and cultures. It is used in a variety of recipes and is nutritious. As for the flouride - flouride is not all its cracked up to be and we get our fair share through other means.
As far as a nutrient though, eating tea leaves is good for us, giving us vitamins, anti oxidants and fibre alon with a variety of minerals we require to maintain good health.
