Tea and Sweeteners - Honey & Sugar
by: Teya - Admin

The best way to get the most out of your tea is to drink it with no added sugar or sweetners.

Some of the herbal teas can be affected by adding sugar. But if you need to sweeten your tea to your taste, honey is the best way to go indeed.

White sugar is really not great for us as most of us already know. So if you are looking for a sweetner, honey or raw cane sugar is best.

Bleached and processed sugars really take their toll on the body. So if you drink 4 cups a tea a day with a teaspoon of white sugar in each, that ends up being alot of white sugar over the period of a year.

Honey is a natural sweetner and I would use this over white sugar anytime. It will not affect the benefits of your teas to any great degree.

Hope this helps,
