Cinnamon tea is best made with a cinnamon stick. Powdered cinnamon leaves residue when making tea, so pure cinnamon tea bags are really not too effective.

You will get a murky muddy looking tea, with residue you can actually taste.

Try placing a cinnamon stick in a tea cup and add hot boiled water. Steep for 3-5 minutes, remove the cinnamon stick.

You can reuse the cinnamon stick several times, but will need to steep a little longer each time
