Black Cohosh & Blue Cohosh

Google

Cohosh tea can be made from either blue cohosh or black cohosh. Black cohosh is the most famous and is often referred to as Womens Tea.

As a womens tea, black cohosh can relieve a variety of symptoms associated with menopause. Here are some of them:

Black Cohosh Benefits

  • hot flashes
  • night sweats
  • vaginal dryness

Traditionally, it was also used as a pain killer, and to treat pain associated with menstrual cramps, sore throats, muscle pain and arthritis. It is widely known and used as a womens herb. It has had some amazing results for treating problems associated with women. Remember, everyone reacts a little differently to herbal medicine, but overall, cohosh is worth a try if you are suffering.

Blue cohosh on the other hand is used to treat different womens problems, such as:

Blue Cohosh Benefits

  • inducing labour
  • promoting menstrual cycle
  • uterine stimulant

Both of these herbs are quite dangerous and should be used under the care of a medical or herbal practitioner.
