Christmas Tea Party Cake Idea

Well I was researching and trying to find some pictures or ideas for a great christmas themed cake.

I came accross some that were interesting like Yule Log Cake, but what really has caught my attention (though I can't find a picture of one) is to decorate a simple square cake like a fancy present!

I found something similar but the decorations were done in candy.

I was thinking of using a real bow, something really fancy and glittery and using icing to create the ribbon effect.

I can just picture it - white, green and silver or gold and red (might be hard to pull off)

I am attaching the picture that got me inspired and am hoping that maybe someone else has made this type of cake before and can offer tips or advice.

I am thinking a metallic type bow so that it doesn't absorb icing.
