When most of us think of blueberry tea, we think of an infused tea that contains bits of blueberry fruit.
It can also be made from the leaves of the blueberry plant, but this type of herbal tea is typically not what most of us are looking for. Rich in antioxidants and other vitamins, most of us know blueberries are really great for boosting the immune system and keeping our health in check. You can read more about the benefits of blueberries here.
Blueberry flavored teas have a sweet tast, they make a great after dinner tea, or are delicious served iced on a hot day. Fruit infusions are becoming increasing popular when blending tea. Strawberry, orange and acai berries are all popular fruit infused teas.
Blueberry Infused Tea
The nice thing about infusing fruits into tea is that you can get very creative. Blueberry happens to infuse very nicely with white tea. You can purchase a variety of white tea blueberry blends. Loose green tea and black tea can also be used, but they tend to overpower the delicate blueberry flavor. Loose white tea is the perfect choice for a blueberry infused tea. Adagio Teas offers one of my favorite blueberry white teas, delicious!
