Tea QuestionI got only one herb plant in my back yard and it is a pineapple sage. I have been making tea for the last two years. My question is does my sage tea has antiviral or anti virus benefits ?
Answer
sage tea has some medicinal qualities - and your pineapple sage tea will contain them.
Sage tea has traditionally been used as an antiseptic - good to treat sores in the mouth, sore throats and treat internal infection.
It is also an antispasmodic, so it can help with upset stomachs. So while it is not anti viral, it can help to clear up bacterial infections.
Hope this helps,
