July 17, 2007 10:00 - Boost Brain Power With A Morning Cup Of Tea

Most people drag themselves into work each morning, more asleep than they are awake. Fortunately for you, by drinking tea you probably don't get that feeling since tea helps to improve mental clarity, responsiveness, and attention. But can you be doing more for your brain than just drinking tea?

I've been diving into personal development very much lately, and one practice I've picked up and started implimenting was completing a game of "sudoku" each morning with my cup of coffee and my protein shake (vanilla protein power, milk, and blueberries - yum!).

It doesn't take much time either. I start playing while the water is boiling, then make the cup of tea and finish it while I'm drinking.

If you don't have much time in the morning, consider getting up just 10 minutes earlier. You probably won't feel a difference, but you'll now have the chance to exercise your brain and get it ready for the day before you even get to work.

Who knows, it might even help your creativity so much that you can think of a new idea at work and get a promotion!

You don't have to play sudoku, but that's my choice since it's such a great mind game. I've already noticed a huge difference in my ability to create strategies to beat it quicker, and I notice patterns much better. The great thing is, you can buy a 100-200 page book of puzzles for a dollar at just about any dollar store.

Drink Up,

Jeremy

July 31, 2007 10:46 - New Website!

Guess what everybody, I now have a new website!

I've been into fitness almost my entire life, even though I was on-and-off most of the time. I recently realized that the reason I was so on-and-off was because I was never really "into" working out. I was also doing it for the wrong reasons (to get big and look nice).

Once I changed my attitude and made my workouts more fun, I do it for a more inner-strengthening reason. I do it now for the health benefits as well as the mental benefits from it as well, and right now my workouts are amazingly fun. I love doing them.

Since I know that many, many people have the same problem, I decided to make a website about it. Of course, I used my favorite website builder - Site Build It!

Anyway, you can check out my new website at www.fitness-made-fun.com

It's extremely new right now, but I plan on having 25 pages on it by the end of August, so it will be building up quite quickly. Please go there and sign up for the RSS Feed on the left hand side of any page so you can get updates everytime I add something new.
